A Special THANKs...
Last year we published the 昀椀rst Conservation In Action report, sharing the impact being
delivered through Twycross Zoo’s Conservation Strategy and the work of our teams and
partners around the world.
This year’s report continues that story and shows the progress we are making together.
Across the past year our teams have continued to deliver meaningful conservation
impact. From caring for threatened species and contributing to European conservation
programmes, to supporting partners working to protect wildlife and habitats in the 昀椀eld
and closer to home, the work highlighted in this report demonstrates the important role
zoos can play in safeguarding biodiversity.
Each year, hundreds of thousands of people visit Twycross Zoo. Alongside the conservation
work we undertake directly, we believe one of our greatest opportunities is inspiring those
visitors to care more deeply about wildlife and the future of the natural world.
None of this work would be possible without the dedication of our sta昀昀, the collaboration
of conservation partners, and the continued support of visitors and members who choose
to spend time with us.
Looking ahead, our ambition continues to grow. The development of the Global
Conservation Centre will create a powerful new platform for conservation education,
research and collaboration, enabling us to inspire future conservationists and support even
greater impact for wildlife.
At a time when biodiversity faces unprecedented pressure, the progress captured in this
report is a reminder that meaningful change is possible when people come together with a
shared commitment to protecting nature.
Thank you for being part of that mission.
