Our Conservation Strategy, launched in 2023, was designed to utilise the skills, expertise and resources
of our sixty-year-old conservation charity, to direct our e昀昀orts to ensure maximum impact. This report
showcases some incredible achievements from 2025, moving us towards our ambitious 2030 goals. We
have never needed zoos more, and in 2025 we saw that. As we see continuing trends toward increasing
extinction rates, global climate change, declines in wild populations, and an increasing disconnect from
nature, here at Twycross Zoo we o昀昀er a solution. Our work to save species globally, and to reconnect our
guests, young and old, with nature and wildlife has never been more important.
